Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris did not hold a Christmas mass for the first time in over 200 years, as repair work from April's devastating fire continues.


The dusk sky above Paris in April was filled with black smoke and orange light as flames ate through the medieval rafters of Notre Dame Cathedral, destroying the structure's iconic spire.
