Rise in unintentional overdose deaths

More than 2,000 Australians died from a drug overdose in 2018, eclipsing the number who died on Australia's roads in the same year.

For the fifth consecutive year, more than 2,000 Australians have died due to a drug overdose.

And that trend isn't showing signs of slowing
