Dr Adriana Elisabeth, a researcher at the Centre for Political Research (P2P) at the Indonesian Institute for Science and Knowledge (LIPI) explains her concerns about the veracity of some media reports about recent events in Papua.


Why might we be sceptical about recent media reports of events in Tembagapura, Papua? What issues need to be considered when reading such reports? Is progress being made to improve conditions for Papuans, in particular in addressing long standing human rights issues?   Dr Adriana Elisabeth explains.
