The spectacular coral reefs of North Sulawesi are world famous and important because of the diversity of their eco-system. But they face a number of natural and man-made threats.


One of the threats to the coral reefs of North Sulawesi is degradation caused by a blanket of plastic waste.  The team at KBR 68H report on Sea Soldier, the organisation which was founded by Nadine Chandrawinata, and is applying a number of strategies to rejuvenate the reefs and educate the people.
