'Shocking' report reveals massive impacts of climate change on Australia's environment

A report into the state of Australia's environment has been labelled 'shocking', revealing, as it does, the impacts of climate change on native species and critical ecosystems.


An environmental scorecard shows more Australia animals are facing extinction, and its ecosystems are deteriorating.

The 2021 state of the environment report has been released, and it paints a grim picture.

Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek has called it a "confronting" and "difficult".
