The Federal Government is hinting that skilled migrants could be forced to live in regional Australia for up to five years before being allowed to move to the big city.


Will all new migrants be forced to settle in regional areas for five years?  Why is the Federal Government considering asking new migrants to live in regional Australia?  What does the Government mean by ‘regional’ Australia? How have people responded to the Government’s suggestion?
