'Spice Up the World' celebrates Indonesian food and traditions

The Spice Up the World festival was held in Melbourne to introduce Indonesian culture and traditions through food.


Indonesian Food Festival themed “Spice Up the World” was held at Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne on March 22 and 23.

This vibrant Indonesian culinary celebration also features cultural performances such as traditional dances.
SBS Indonesian spoke to the organisers of the event, one of the participants, as well as several Indonesian diaspora who attended the event.

According to them, the festival is one of the interesting ways to promote Indonesian culture through food.
