Relatives of the nearly three thousand Americans killed in the September 11 attacks have participated in a memorial service for the 21st anniversary. U-S Vice President Kamala Harris and New York City Mayor Eric Adams attended the solemn ceremony at the 9/11 memorial. Families read out the names of all the victims, with many relatives born in the years after the attack.


Prof Greg Barton is a Research Professor and Chair of Global Islamic Politics at the Alfred Deakin Institute, University of Deakin. He explains to Sri Dean of how we can look at 9/11 tragedy with new pair of eyes. For example, by helping people in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Somalia, to prevent the emergence of new groups of terrorists.
