With Independence Day just around the corner, Nuim Khaiyath, who was head of the Indonesian Section of Radio Australia (ABC) and active in establishing the Indonesian section of 3EA, talks about the refusal by some people to have Indonesian flags unfurled near where they live.


Why might some people in Indonesia object to respecting The Flag?  Is their attitude justifiable?  Nuim Khaiyath explains the roots of this behaviour.
