The 2022 Federal Election result and its impact on Australian politics. What will become of the big parties?

The Governor-General, David Hurley has sworn in Anthony Albanese to be Prime Minister. Over the next few days we will know if the ALP will have a majority of seats. Although the ALP has won, the performances of both major parties was overshadowed by the success of independent candidates and the Greens.
