The Governor-General, David Hurley has sworn in Anthony Albanese to be Prime Minister. Over the next few days we will know if the ALP will have a majority of seats. Although the ALP has won, the performances of both major parties was overshadowed by the success of independent candidates and the Greens.


Writer and activist Kate Walton was one of the organisers of the March 4 Justice in Canberra.  She explains to Sri Dean why the result was so historical and what challenges the Albanese government will face.
