Home ownership is the aspiration of many young people in Indonesia and Australia. But realising that aspiration is becoming increasingly difficult, resulting in social problems. How can the trend be reversed?


Riza Yosia Sunindijo, is Associate Professor in Construction, Management and Property, in the School of Built Environment at the University on New South Wales.  He contrasts the problems young adults in Jakarta and Sydney face in buying a home and talks about ways to ease the problem.
