The environment in which we live and the feeling of inclusiveness towards people with disability

People with disabilities are a marginalized group in Indonesia. Even though the Disability Law exists, this group is still unable to fully participate in society. Likewise, accessibility is still not well met.


Herlambang Septiawan is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne who carries out research related to disabilities in two villages in Yogya. He explained the objectives and what he wanted to achieve with the research results later. For example, making appropriate policies for people with disabilities.
