On 29 October the Indonesia and Australia U23 teams played the second leg of theGroup G Qualifier for the 2022 U23 Asian Cup. Australia won the match 1-0, having scored a goal in the 9th minute of the first half. In the second half both teams could not take their chances. How far has Indonesian football advanced?


Robbie Gaspar was the first Australian footballer to play in Indonesia. He is currently a Player Development Manager, a football ambassador and a member of the Australia Indonesia Business Council.  He explains to Sri Dean why Australia won and talks about the potential of players in both teams
