SBS Indonesian spoke with Ms Lala Noronha, General Manager and also with Ms Laura Bouzidi, Community Officer of The Kogarah Storehouse about the activities and services provided by the foundation.
The Kogarah Storehouse is a charitable organization under the auspices of the Uniting Church that provides various services to help the wider community who are less fortunate or people who are struggling with life's problems.
The organization's main office is located in Brighton-Kogarah Uniting Church and has been providing assistance to communities in need in the St George area since 1992.
During the pandemic the restrictions imposed, have led to the closure of its doors to the public and the halting of some services, but general manager Lala Noronha said staff and volunteers continue to work behind the scenes to support old and new clients.

Some of its services, such as interest-free loans - No Interest Loans (NILS) have shown improvement during this pandemic. Likewise with the demand for emergency food supplies.
The weekly free community lunch and grocery service, which normally operates Monday through Friday, has been postponed.
