The plights of children in the conflict areas or war zones

Children are the most vulnerable minority group in any conflict or war. Not only that their childhood is interrupted but they are prone to suffer from mental health.


Prof Bagong Suyanto, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Airlangga in Surabaya explained to SBS Indonesian, that the world must do more to protect the children in the conflict or war zones. He gave an example of war between Israel and Hamas. Thousands of children childrhave been killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7.
