A new Federal Government scheme would allow domestic violence victims to withdraw up to $10,000 of their superannuation to help them out in a time of crisis.


Some workers already have the right to access their superannuation before retirement if they face extreme circumstances. The new policy would add family and domestic violence to that list of reasons. Yet some people believe the scheme could leave already vulnerable women worse off.
