Australia began to reduce restrictions on gathering, and religious community leaders also preparing to accept ten worshipers while at the same time rejecting hundreds of others who wanted to attend devotional services.

With only ten people permitted to gather at the place of worship for prayer services, Muslim, Christian and Hindu religious community leaders said that holding services for only ten people at a time was inappropriate.

On Monday, religious gatherings and places of worship everywhere in Australia will be able to accommodate up to 10 worshipers. Except in Western Australia, where the number of people in a place of worship can accommodate 20 people.

At the Gallipoli Mosque in Auburn in Sydney, the manager of the mosque, Ergan Genel said ten people alone would not be enough to satisfy the congregation, especially during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
