Tidore weaving has been lost for hundreds of years over time. The loss of this weaving craft is due partly to the influence of outside culture, and the difficulty of preserving this masterpiece is a challenge in itself.
Anita Gathmir Kaicil, recounts her struggle in trying to restore memories and promise the long lost glory.
