There were plenty of highlights when Australia played Kuwait at the Jaber Al-Hamad International Stadium in its opening game of the Round 2 of World Cup Qualifiers (4 June.) The first came very early when Matthew Leckie scored the opening goal.


Robbie Gaspar was the first Australian footballer to play in Indonesia. He is currently a Player Development Manager, a football ambassador and a member of the Australia Indonesia Business Council.  After the game he explained to Sri Dean why we should admire the team and its management and why he feels very optimistic about the team’s future.
