The processing of waste in Indonesia has been problematic for years and years. There is a lot of finger pointing but how can the problem be solved?


Investment, urbanisation and development have their benefits, but also have environmental, health and social impacts.  But who should take responsibility for the problem? Are legal sanctions for waste management strong enough?
