Tokyo Paralympics: What did it tell us about the host country?

On 05 September the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics officially ended. A young Indonesian living in Japan volunteered was invited to work at Paralympics after volunteering at the Olympics in July. Why did he accept the invitation?


Abdullah Alfarisi (Faris) is an undergraduate at Tokyo International University.  At the Paralympics he worked as a volunteer with the Olympic Broadcasting Service.  He explains to Sri Dean why Japan was successful in holding the Paralympics and the lessons gained from his experience.
