The NAIDOC Week theme this year is Heal Country. The theme has a strong connection with the reforms contained in the Uluru Statement from the Heart which calls for an Indigenous voice in the Federal parliament. An Indigenous representation that is protected by the Australian Constitution. What are the other key points in the Uluru Statement from the Heart?

NAIDOC 2021 invites us to join the Uluru Dialogue and the Uluru Statement from the Heart.  Fathia Noor Lastika is a lecturer in the Humanities Faculty at the University of Indonesia.  She specialises in Australian History.  In an interview with Sri Dean, Fathia explains the key principles and features of the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
