Hopefully the AFC Women’s Asian Cup tournament has inspired girls across Asia to take up soccer. But the player development process for soccer players is so important. Elika Halim is a great example.


Robbie Gasper has outstanding experience in soccer in both Indonesia and Australia.  He now is a Player Development Manager, a director of the Indonesia Institute and a soccer ambassador.  Elika Halim, is a member of the Senior Squad for the Camden Tigers in the Football NSW league. WWhile Wimpy Halim is Elika Halim’s father. With Sri Dean they discuss issues to emerge from the Women’s Aian Cup.
