The Victorian Government has announced that it has bought 2.2 million rapid antigen tests for use in special risk domains. From November Australians will be able to use rapid antigen test kits at home. Yet today in America some home test kits developed by Ellume were recalled due to many inaccurate readings. How useful can rapid antigen tests be in a Living with COVID-19 Australia?


Dr Moelyoto Pangestu is a lecturer and researcher in Gynecology and Midwifery in the Faculty of Medisine, Nursing and Health Science at Monash University.  He explains to Sri Dean the practical and ethical issues in the use of rapid antigen tests.
