What does this High Court’s decision mean for media organisations and their consumers?

Media groups run their own Facebook pages. On those sites third parties can respond to content published by the media organisation. What happens if those comments are considered to derogatory? Last week the High Court ruled that media outlets are responsible as publishers for those comments.
