Last month the University of Western Australia proposed changes brought on by a restructure. The changes would particularly impact on research in social. What are the implications for Australians’ understanding of Indonesia?


Dr Jacqui Baker is a lecturer in South East Asian studies at Murdoch University.  Among other things she explains to Sri Dean what triggered the proposal and how it fits into a broader Australia wide shift in the way Australia views the purpose of universities.
