Orange Sky Laundry is Australia’s first mobile laundry service for the homeless, an initiative launched in Brisbane 14 months ago by the then 20-year-old friends.

Italian-Australian Nicholas Marchesi and Lucas Patchett started their adventure with an old custom fitted van with two industrial washers and dryers.

Less than two years later, they are the recipients of the Young Australian of the Year Award.
