Bomb squad called after explosives found at Adelaide property

South Australia police have uncovered some explosives at a property on Grenfell Street in Adelaide's CBD.

"Just after 12.30pm today, police attended a commercial property in Grenfell St in relation to an ongoing investigation and conducted a search," SA Police said in a tweet.

Members of the Bomb Response Unit are at the scene examining the explosives. 

Police said the items are believed to be commercial explosives.
