Three members of the groups, the Lucchesi siblings, have Italian origins. Marc was three, when his family decided to leave San Cassiano, in Tuscany and moved to Australia.
"My dad plays guitar, my mum plays piano. I grew up in a family where music was always around"
They took their name from an Italian children's karaoke machine that was very popular in the late '80s. The Vaudeville Smash started from there. Since their first gig at Fitzroy's Bar Open in September 2009, the group has carved his own niche and they have just released their second album,The Gift.

This is the video of Laura, the first taste of The Gift, a song about a wild, untamed man-eater...
Some music bands they love? Hall & Oates, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire, Huey Lewis and the News, Todd Rundgren and Prince. Among the Italians, first of all, Mango.
