On July 15, the 2017 edition of the Mongol Rally starts in London. This is not a race like all the others: cars must be at least 20 years old, cost no more than 500 euros and have an engine no larger that 1200 cubic centimeters. In short, an old wreck. The route first crosses northern Europe, then the former Eastern Block, and finally the vast Asian highlands, reaching the border between Russia and Mongolia.
The itinerary does not have obligatory stages and it really doesn't matter who crosses the finish line first. Our old acquaintance, software developer Marco Prayer, who together with his friend, co-pilot and fellow Florentine Andrea Zerbini will participate in the event, told us about their participation in the Rally.

How do you make sure that your old wreck won't leave you stranded on a deserted road in the Himalayas? In the video, Marco and an experienced mechanic put the final touches to the vintage Panda to avoid just that.
In the following interview with Marco, more information on the 1988 Fiat Panda that will take him and Andrea across Europe and Asia.
