Toto Cutugno cancels 'L'Italiano' tour

Promoter Roy Ortuso has announced the cancellation of the Australian tour of the Italian singer.

The Australian Tour by Italian superstar and Eurovision 1990 winner Toto Cutugno has been cancelled due to health reasons.

At the moment of publication of this article the Facebook page of the singer does not contain any information about the cancellation, the latest post dated 17 May is announcing an extra date added in Melbourne.

Toto Cutugno had talked to us ahead of the tour and during the interview had declared he was looking forward to coming to Australia.

The media release sent by the organiser Roy Ortuso: "The Cancellation is due to an unforeseen health problem that had him [Toto Cutugno] admitted to hospital on Thursday last week, in his current state Doctors have prohibited him from flying and expect him to be hospitalised for at least another week. Toto would like to apologise to all his Australian fans the tour organisers and sincerely hopes to return to Australia in the future. Toto will be sending a video drop as soon as he is well enough, you will be contacted from ticketing agencies to arrange your refund”.
