PM Malcom Turnbull has announced on a video from his Facebook page his decision to cancel the 457 visa program. "We're putting jobs first and we’re putting Australians first by abolishing 457 visas".
The 457 visa program for skilled migrants will be replaced by a new type of temporary visa.
