Co-founder and chef at 48h Pizza and Gnocchi Bar in Melbourne, Michele Circhirillo, has won silver in 2 categories at 2018 World Pizza Championships Australia. With only eight medals up for grabs, Michele was the only competitor to take home multiple medals, winning silver in both the "classica" and "gluten-free" categories.
At 48h they take our dough seriously, leaving it to rise for a minimum of 48 hours to ensure its lightness and fragrance. Michele will be flying in Parma next year to be part of the Australian team at the world championship
