When Piera Pagnoni arrived in Australia and wondered what she could offer, her answer was her skills in preparing traditional fresh pasta. The preparation of fresh pasta is an ancient Bolognese tradition, which is still alive in Piera's family and was handed down by her grandmother and then by a maternal aunt. Today, Piera works as a chef at the Basta restaurant in Fitzroy, Melbourne.
