Italy could decide not to take part in EU meetings as a protest against migration policies.

A meeting of European Union countries is scheduled for Sunday (June 24) as a preparation for the next European Council (28-29 June), to discuss how to tackle the thorny issue of migrants' crisis. The Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, may not go to Brussels for the pre-summit; the news is yet to be confirmed. Journalist Carlo Fusi reports from Rome.
