On May 13th 2018, hundreds of thousands of 'Alpini' (an elite mountain warfare military corps of the Italian Army) will pour into Trento for the 91st national meeting, a moment of celebration throughout Italy and around the world. In fact, as every year, there will be a small but significant Australian contingent, symbol of the strong bond that binds all those who have been Alpines.
