Ricardo Merlo (MAIE) will be undersecretary for the Italians abroad.

Since the first Italians abroad have obtained the right to vote, an Italian elected abroad has received a Government office. In recent days, Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte announced the appointment of Senator Ricardo Merlo, elected for MAIE in Argentina, as undersecretary abroad.
