Davide fell in love with magicians when he was very young, thanks to the world-renown illusionist David Copperfield: seeing him glide over the audience during a live show made an everlasting impression on him. Later a serendipitous gift from a "reformed" magician gave him a taste of the tricks of the trade, and despite pursuing a different, more ordinary daytime career he has never given up his passion.
When he moved to Australia he started performing in English, first in Tasmania and more recently in Melbourne. At the upcoming Magic Festival Davide will be performing both as Davide Kaufmann in his brand new show titled Fables, which has a strong link to Italian traditions and culture, and as The Great Armando, a favourite among kids.
