Around 6,500 migrants rescued on Monday alone off the coast of Lybia

The Italian Coast Guard has coordinated 40 rescue operations in the Strait of Sicily, saving a total of 6,500 people on Monday alone. We spoke to ISPI researcher Matteo Villa about the influx of migrants towards Europe through Lybia.
