Claudio Monteverdi's Orpheus will be staged at the Faculty of Music at the Australian National University on 21 and 22 August. The show will also be an experiment as it will make use of modern technology for the projection of sets and lighting through a complex system connected to a computer. Creators of this system are Andrew Quinn, a native of Melbourne who now lives in Milan, and Alessandro Chiodo from Parma.
