The elections that took place recently in Cambodia have seen the party in power easily returned, with about 80% of the votes.
The Party of the Cambodian People (CPP) is led by Hun Sen, the country’s strong man for over 30 years.
The vote was however called "a farce" by Western observers, because in recent years Hun Sen has arrested political opponents, outlawed parties hostile to him and shut down all independent media.
