Melbourne-based researcher Alessandra Ferri is starting a special study on the effects of exercise on patients affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

MND is a progressive, terminal neurological disease with no existing cure. Sadly, each day in Australia two people die from MND and two people are diagnosed with MND. While there is no known cure yet, researchers are trying to establish whether exercise can help patients slowing down the effects of this disease.
