On 25 February 1545, the first company of professional comedians in the world was born in Padua, Italy, legally established with a notary deed. The act of birth of the 'Commedia dell'arte' is celebrated all over the world, including in Oceania every year in the same day.
Italian-Australian actor Fabio Motta, from The Clowning Workshop is the creator of a free event organised this side of the world to celebrate the comedy, the actors and theatre.
