Double-dissolution election on the cards

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has called for a special sitting of parliament, which could trigger a double-dissolution election. Mr Turnbull says he has received permission from the Governor-General to recall both houses of parliament on April the 18th so they can vote on union-corruption legislation. But if they fail to pass the legislation, Australia will be going to the polls on July the 2nd.
