Four months have passed since the first session of the legislature that followed the Italian elections on March 4 and two months since Giuseppe Conte was appointed Prime Minister in a government formed by the Five Star Movement and the League.
We spoke to Democratic Party Senator, Francesco Giacobbe, elected in the foreign constituency which includes Australia, to ask him about these first months of the new legislature.
In particular we asked him about working alongside the new Senators of the governing parties and whether he sees room for possible future collaborations or predicts only a clear opposition from his party.
