How Italian teaching began in Victoria

In 1935 the prestigious Mac Robertson Girls' High School began hosting the first Italian classes in Victoria, marking the start of a teaching adventure that continues today.


Monash University PhD Education student Jenna Lo Bianco tells SBS how Italian grew from being a niche choice to becoming one of the most important languages taught in Australia.
