This week our segment on the new Italian immigration to Australia features Erika Peverari, a 34-year-old native of San Felice sul Panaro, in the province of Modena.


After working in a bank for eight years, Erika arrived in Australia in December 2015 with the hope of continuing her career in her field. On her arrival in Sydney, however, despite scores of resumes sent to banking and financial institutions, she found the doors invariably closed. Until the turning point, which allowed her to get a job and a sponsorship.
