Italian actress Valeria Solarino is in Australia to launch the Lavazza Italian Film Festival and introduce some of her films which are premiering down under.


This year's edition of the Lavazza Italian Film Festival has been launched by a special guest from Italy, Valeria Solarino, who stars in three movies which will be shown this year here in Australia: : As Needed, There’s No Place Like Home and I Can Quit Whenever I Want 3: Ad honorem.
Venezuela-born but raised in Italy, Valeria Solarino grew up in Turin where she started studying acting in a renown theatre school. Her cinema debut almost happened by chance, she explained speaking to SBS Italian, but 15 years later she is still going strong, although she keeps performing in theatres too.
