Although it scaled down in the last two years, the Islamic State has certainly not been defeated.
Over 220 people were killed on Wednesday July, 25 in two suicide attacks in the Sweida, a region of southwest Syria. The violence has been claimed by the Islamic State. The facts happen in the wake of the growing tensions between the government of Bashar al-Assad and Israel as explained by Michele Giorgio, journalist of Italian newspaper Il Manifesto sent to Jerusalem.
