From Parsifal to lingerie. A conversation with Jonas Kaufmann.

Jonas Kaufmann, arguably the best tenor of this generation, has triumphed in Wagner's Parsifal at the Sydney Opera House, his performance receiving an unprecedented five stars and an asterisk by the reputable Sydney Morning Herald. In this interview, the German tenor also talks of his debut in Verdi's Otello at the Royal Opera House in London; his decision to dedicate more time to his family and less to his long seasons away from Europe; and the surprising landing on stage in London of some lingerie items thrown by some of his most passionate female fans.
